Learn to play Trombone, Euphonium & Tuba

This family of instruments includes the only instrument with a slide! The trombone!
The beginning low brass player will learn to assemble and care for their instrument. The brass player will be taught to produce a "buzz", which is simply vibrating lips.
Low brass instruments are the foundation of the band. Because musicians listen 'down' to the lowest pitch for intonation, the tuning and sonority of the whole ensemble is dependent upon the low brass! Students will be taught to read bass clef music, how to care for their instrument, and how to produce beautiful tone quality. Also, low brass players are able to transfer skills learned to other low brass instruments with a minimum of difficultly.
