Gina Hayek - Piano, Voice

Gina Krause Hayek earned a degree in general and choral music education with a major in voice from Michigan State University. She spent 27 years teaching preK-8th grade music mainly in the Wake County Public School System, and achieved National Board certification in 2003.After giving birth to twins in 2013, Gina retired from public school, and began her home studio in 2017 teaching private piano and voice lessons to young children through adults.Gina has worked as the director of children’s music at Hudson Memorial UPC from 2015-2021. In 2022, Gina served as the Young Musician’s choir director at Rolesville Baptist Church. Gina has performed on stages across the US and abroad, traveling with 2 professional choirs, as well as performing as a solo singer in church, weddings and Memorial services.Gina hopes that by sharing her love for music and her students, as well as her years of experience, she can instill that same love and confidence in her students so that they can become the life-long musicians they desire to be.
