These sampler camps are a great way to introduce students to the piano. Fundamentals of music such as note reading, note values, rhythmic patterns, terminology and keyboard layout will be elements explored. Students play games and enjoy the shared learning that group piano provides.

Come join us as we assist your young prodigies in the basic elements of violin technique. Social interaction and the opportunity to play as a group are important features of this camp. Students may rent an instrument for the week if you don’t own one. We recommend Burrage Music Company. Music Academy South does not rent or sell instruments.

Bring your energetic child who loves to drum on the kitchen table, the counter top and the back of your car seat! We will help direct their energy through early levels of percussive patterns, playing as an ensemble and learning basic techniques all drummers need to know. Students need to provide their own drum pad & drum sticks.

This course is designed to develop the composer's creative musical ideas. Students will learn how to merge rhythmic, harmonic and melodic ideas as they compose their own piece. Final compositions will be printed by the student with music software and will be performed.

These charming productions will have your child eager to return each day. Students will participate in various aspects of staging, acting, singing, dancing, building sets, costuming, directing and more. Learning to work corporately, learning about character building traits, and learning the art of producing a show are key elements in the concept of this camp. Creativity, perseverance and focus will be developed in a playful and joyous manner.
