Music Academy South accomodates private and group lessons. View our current classes
& programs in Application. We have an in-house performance room and a
state-of-the-art keyboard lab. Our performance space is engineered and designed
to boost music in Wake Forest and surrounding areas. Our programs provide
instruction and development for all ages and levels of music appreciation.
Our goal is to nurture a love of the arts, first through an understanding of
the student's instrument and then how their instrument interrelates with others
through performances and study. Music is fun, it is exciting and it is fulfilling.
We look forward to bringing music to our students each week.
All teachers hold music degrees and have outstanding experience in teaching and

The Academy's musical director, Dr. Jeanine Skinner, established the studio in 2003
and the expansion of services has been tremendous. Music Academy South welcomes
students of all ages from birth, pre-school, school-age and adult. Programs are
designed to appeal to the serious-minded student, as well as the hobbyist.
Currently, Music Academy South has an enrollment of 270 students, has 11 music
instructors and two administrative staff members. Please come by and visit us
between the hours of noon and 8:00 PM.
